Overview

The Pathfinder is a graduation gift to yourself after the tutorial. It is cheap, balanced, and durable enough to explore a Voyage map without dying to the first thing you meet.

It carries a bit of cargo, mounts one honest gun, and walks at a sensible clip. There is nothing fancy here - just a forgiving frame to learn the systems on.

Build it, learn the wastes, then decide which specialist path calls to you.

How to build it

  1. 1Pick any starter chassis and place the five core modules close together.
  2. 2Add two Cargo Holds beside the Entrance.
  3. 3Cover the helm and reactor with Scrap and Riveted Plating.
  4. 4Mount the single Autocannon Turret on top.
  5. 5Finish with a Searchlight and go explore.
