Overview

The Sandskater is the build every new raider should make first. It costs almost nothing, walks fast, and forgives mistakes because you can always run.

There is barely any armor here on purpose - speed is the defense. Hit a salvage site, grab what you can fit in the single Salvage Bay, and afterburn out before anyone ranges you.

Outgrow it quickly, but learn the map on it. Zero crowns, all lessons.

How to build it

  1. 1Use the lightest chassis you have and keep total part count low.
  2. 2Mount both Engine Boosters next to the reactor and wire the Afterburner.
  3. 3Bolt on three Scrap Armor panels over the helm only.
  4. 4Add the single Salvage Bay near the Entrance for fast loot transfer.
  5. 5Top it with a Gatling Mount as a deterrent and go raid.
